SUNDAY EVENING (30th of August, 2026) MESSAGE
Introduction:- We to discuss in this week on the “Theme – Marriage and Christian Home” which implies Marriage in Christian Home. This theme may also Means Manifestations of Marriage in each Christian home.
Before we proceed further, I wish to remind you all what you had known and understood about marriage that Marriage is a market. A light out or off-light market where two persons of opposite sex meet to have everlasting deal based on three purposes together.
Marriage is not established for any other purpose but for only three purposes. We are studying today on the topic which says:-
Topic:- Why Should One Get Married?
Text:- Ecclesiastes 4: 9.
Companionship
i. To solve the problem of loneliness – Gen. 2: 18.
ii. For enjoying helping hand – Gen. 2: 18.
iii. For fellowshiping – Gen. 2: 24.
iv. For friendship between Spouses – Gen. 2: 24.
v. For uniformity between the Spouses Gen. 2: 24.
Sexual-Intercourse as Indoor Manifestation of Holy Matrimonial Home
i. Spouses Nakedness to each other – Gen. 2: 25.
Off-dress Appearance.
There should be no hidden secrets, no hidden agenda.
(This enables the spouses to feel and behave magnetically to each other).
ii. Sexual Desire as an order of God – Gen. 3: 16b.
This is the (spiritual and magnetic) driving-force which prepares the spouses in anticipation to experience and enjoy Matrimonial love of each other from the inner heart in Off-dress appearance to each other in the secret place. The only function of Sexual-Desire is to pull spouses (male and female that are husband and wife) to each other, to cleave to each other, to adhere to each other, to stick together and being compacted for pleasure from the inner heart.
Be informed, Sexual-Intercourse should be practised between you the spouses alone (Proverbs 5: 14 – 18, I Corinthians 7: 1 – 5).
Procreation (Gen. 1: 28a, Gen. 3: 16).
i. The God owns and controls human Procreation (Proverbs 127: 3 – 5).
ii. The human children belong to God (Proverbs 127: 3).
iii. The children are the weapons to fight all enemies (if they are well trained and prepared) (Proverbs 127: 4). This indicates that the parents have a lot of work to do for the goodness and success of both their children and the household as a whole.
iv. If Parents are blessed with children, if the Parents could cater for their children and train them well, they would be favoured by God because there shall be no any enemy that could stand safely against such Parents (Proverbs 127: 5).
Conclusion:- Knowing the purposes of marriage is extremely important to enable one decide whether to enter into it or not. Having knowledge of how and why marriage is inaugurated is good so as to know how to sustain it when one enters into it. To avoid blemishes in marriage, Marriage should be taken as a course of study.
