INTRODUCTION:-
On the 10th of August, 2020, God enlightened me that all the effects of fearing of God are positive. He told me that he who fear Him (God) will never suffer of any good thing. He said, if a God-fearing person experience any situation like suffering, the one just need to be patient and humble more before God, the splendour of God is awaiting the God-fearing man.
FEAR OF GOD’S DEFINITION:-
i. The Bible defines the fear of God as the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10, Prov 9:10).
ii. Daily encounter with God, 2020 says, the fear of God is the continuous awareness that God is watching all of my taught, words, actions and my attitudes.
iii. I therefore define the fear of God as the proposal to inherit wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God through total obedience to the commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Father (God Almighty).
Topic:- FEARING GOD IS PROFITABLE AND ADVANTAGEOUS
Text:- Genesis 22: 9 – 19
In my interaction with God, He disclosed Abraham to me as the most faithful father of faith who feared God to the point of sacrificing his only one son (Isaac) he had as a burnt offering unto the Lord God of Heaven. God requested from Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, Abraham accepted without argument. Abraham was pleased to satisfy God more than satisfying himself. Abraham obeyed God’s commandment with all pleasure. He did all what God asked of him without hesitation.
GOD BLESSES HE WHO IMPRESSES HIM
Abraham impressed God. God surprised Abraham with blessing. God redeemed Issac to to continue his living. God blessed Abraham and his generations, even, anyone who believes in The God of Abraham (Jah Jehovah Jireh), he who is always listening to the Almighty God through Jesus Christ (His son) and being obeying God’s commandments, as Abraham was blessed, such will be blessed too.
GOD’S EYES ARE ON YOU AS HIS EYES ARE ON ABRAHAM
* Just be aware that God is watching all of your taught, words, actions and your attitudes.
* Don’t forget that he who obeys God is blessed by Him.
* Remember that the fear of God is wisdom that leads to knowledge and understanding in life.
CONCLUSION
Be upright before God, be faithful to Him, have faith in God, fight against doubt of your life. The blessing of God is yours in Jesus name.
