WEDNESDAY EVENING (2nd of September, 2026) MESSAGE
Introduction:-
Greetings.
The word of wisdom in the scripture says :- Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire – Proverbs 29: 17 (NIV). This is an encouragement for the parents to equip their children in preparation for both the future of their children and for the period when the parents would not have strength to perform again. The scripture reminds parents that when they become old, their welfare would be determined by their children, that their would then become their keepers and shepherds. As an adage, the parents would sleep on their bed as they laid it. The children are the parents’ bed and the teaching and training given to the children right from their early stages indicating bed laying. The parents that play their roles fully enjoy full benefits and blessings of God through the children (Psalm 127: 4 – 5) but the parents who handle their responsibilities over their children with carelessness would be rewarded according to their carelessness. So, children teaching and training is a must and unavoidable.

Topic:- A MATRIMONIAL HOME AS THE SUPREME EDUCATION CENTRE AND MICRO CHURCH OF GOD
Text:- Proverbs 22: 6.

Message:-
Why should the parents educate their children?
To enable the children be adapted to Moral, to godliness and to empower them to be hardworking (Proverbs 22: 6b).

And again, because these children belong to God. Human beings are not fully own them (Psalm 127: 3). The children are like talents given to a servant for profitable and productive proper maintenance and management (Matthew 25: 14 – 28).

Because God makes these children to be our weapons to fight all our enemies, difficulties, calamities, challenges, problems, …. that are surrounded us (Psalm 127: 4).

For the parents would be blessed through their children if they could work together for the progress of their children (Psalm 127: 5).

What are the trainings to be given to the children?
The trainings to be given to the children are accordingly listed below:
1. Moral and Domestic trainings (Home Trainings).
2. Spiritual trainings (Home Church Morning and Night Services and Devotions)
3. Academic Trainings ((in the Home, Church and School).
4. Entrepreneurship Trainings (Vocations).

From all the above trainings, children would achieve:-
1. Academic Opportunities to stand fit among his or her colleagues.
2. Through Moral, the children would have self-control to behave well in the society
3. Through Godliness the children would be able to stand as an agent and ambassador of God in any where on earth.
4. The children would be cognitive to the extent that no one could cheat them in their endeavours.
5. The children would be vocational equipped through entrepreneurship, they would be self-reliance and self-sufficiency.

Biblical Training and Teaching Timetable (Deuteronomy 6: 4 – 9).
1. Home training and teaching-learning process should be without-season.
2. Teaching and learning is allowed in the morning, afternoon, night and mid-night.
3. Teaching, training and learning process is possible and allowed on the move.

The Responsibilities of the Children under Home Training

Children to be trained are also have their responsibilities to perform – (Ephesians 6: 1 – 2).
1. The children should identify their parents as gods.
2. The children are mandated to be obedient to their parents as to the Supreme God.
3. The children should humble before their parents, respect their parents and fear their parents.

Conclusion:-
It’s a must for the parents to carry out these training responsibilities to present their children as products of moral and godliness so as to enable the children become men of God that had been prepared for all good works which would enable them present themselves as approved children of God (II Timothy 3: 17).
